Speedbump...averted.

Well, just when I thought I was sailing through this pregnancy (and that I would be pregnant forever) we hit another bump in the road.  I had a routine monthly check. and my blood pressure was a little elevated.  Given my history, I was sent for blood work and, once again, had to pee in the big orange bucket for a day.  I waited until the weekend to do that since I figured my co-workers wouldn't appreciate sharing the fridge with a gallon of pee.  In the meantime, I let work know that I may be making an early exit again and quickly got everything in order.  A week went by until I finally got the results.  No sign of pre-eclampsia.  Damn.   In that week, I let myself get really excited about delivering early again. But the results showed that I was in for the long haul, which at this point is still six weeks.   Six more weeks for this baby to get even bigger.  Six more weeks of heartburn.  Six more weeks of "sleeping" in the recliner in our room.  Six more weeks of work.  Six more weeks.
